BEN OTTEWELL ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM 'A MAN APART' AND REVEALS NEW TRACK 'WATCHER'

Ben Ottewell has announced the release of new album A Man Apart to be released on 26th May, both through Sunday Best. He has also announced a UK and Ireland tour in June.   With an avid following from the days in his former band Gomez, A Man Apart is singer/songwriter Ben Ottewell’s third solo offering and follows his albums Shapes and Shadows and Rattlebag. The album is a record that crosses musical genres such as Americana, blues and folk backed by Ben’s unmistakable gutsy and gravelly voice. Co-written with childhood friend and former Tunng member, Sam Genders, the album was recorded in Los Angeles and Sheffield and engineered and produced in the latter by Martin Smith.   Click here to listen to…

I played it for the first time, as I remember, almost exactly as I did when recording with Andrew for the EP and I’ve tried not to de-construct it too much. It’s just a little reflection of an isolated moment." - Laucan   Click here to listen
