Listen to Tythe – ‘Totem Poles’ now!
After remixing the likes of David Lynch and Crystal Fighters, this week Tythe dropped ‘Totem Poles’; a slow burning, brightly shining indi-house track.
With dancing electronics wrapped in acres of reverb, melodic guitars and a beat which guides you through an imagined picturesque, spectral landscape created by Tythe himself, ‘Totem Poles’ sees him cast fresh eyes on the electronic house scene.
The new cut is the first listen from his eagerly anticipated debut album set for release early next year.
Here’s what two selected blogs had to say about ‘Totem Poles’:
“On the surface it’s built from pretty melodies, both icy electronic and earthy acoustic ones, but deeper you find a glimmering indie-house tune that has many little creaks and sparks to enjoy” Abeano
“Intricate production, huge electronic hooks and ethereal guitars” Neighborhood Tapes
