Lynch’s ‘We Rolled Together’ has been remixed by Bjorn Yttling of Peter, Bjorn and John!

Our series of announcements of brand new David Lynch remixes continues! This time it’s the turn of Bjorn Yttling, best known for his part in Swedish pop group Peter, Bjorn and John.

Within his career as a solo artist, Yttling has formed the Yttling Jazz Band, and with them he has created his own emphatic interpretation of ‘We Rolled Together’ taken from David Lynch‘s sophomore album ‘The Big Dream‘. Listen below:

Yttling has built on the existing production of ‘We Rolled Together’ and brought in an intense string section; injecting sweetness and warmth into the original track which has a cold air of menace about it. Overall, Bjorn Yttling and his Jazz band’s finished remix of ‘We Rolled Together’ makes for an altogether more positive and uplifting listening experience than that of its predecessor.

The Yttling Jazz remix of Lynch’s ‘We Rolled Together’ comes alongside three other brand new remixes from Bastille, Hot Since 82 and Venetian Snares as part of the second CD in the Super Deluxe version of ‘The Big Dream‘, to be released on January 27th 2014.

The Super Deluxe ‘The Big Dream’ is a stylish and very limited edition box set, of which only 500 will be produced worldwide. The boxset will include the following: the full CD album and a second CD of bonus tracks and exclusive remixes; a third CD made up of instrumental versions of ‘The Big Dream’; a 7″ Heavy Vinyl with ‘Bad The John Boy’ on one side and the Bastille remix of ‘Are You Sure’ on the other; a 7″ 16 page booklet containing the lyrics and photographs taken by Lynch himself; a fold out poster and finally an individually numbered and embossed keyring.
