Pre-Order The Debut Album From Valerie June

Currently on tour with Jake Bugg, the debut album from Valerie June titled ‘Pushin’ Against a Stone’ due for release in May 2013, is now available to pre-order on heavyweight 12” Vinyl (including download code) and CD.

The album was mostly recorded at Dan Auerbach’s (The Black Keys) Easy Eye studio in Nashville, as well as L.A. and Budapest, and was produced by both Dan Auerbach and Kevin Augunas (Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Florence & The Machine). ‘Pushin’ Against a Stone’ includes the singles ‘Workin’ Woman Blues‘ and ‘You Can’t Be Told‘, plus ‘Twined & Twisted‘ as performed on Later… with Jools Holland.

As previously mentioned, Valerie is currently supporting Jake Bugg on his sold out UK tour this month, with many more live dates that can be found here and some yet to be announced.

Look out for the second single from the album, ‘You Can’t Be Told‘ out now on iTunes and in record shops on March 4.
