The Independent Label Market on Saturday November 30th.

This year’s Independent Label Market will be their biggest event to date since their launch in May 2011. Accompanied by over eighty of the UK’s best independent record labels, we will be taking up residence in the stalls of Old Spitalfields Market for the day on Saturday November 30th!

The 2013 special festive Independent Label Market is once again supported by the Association of Independent Music and will be presented in partnership with the London Brewers’ Market. In the world of the Brewery, small and independent breweries are beloved in a similar vein to the independent record labels in the capital. In the past year alone the number of operating breweries in London has doubled; their ales featured in bars, pubs and restaurants across the country. There will be a beer garden nestled amongst the Label Market and Brewery stalls which will feature product sampling, live music and DJ sets throughout the day. The London Brewers’ Market will offer you the chance to meet some of the Brewers behind the thriving popularity of beer in London, as well as giving you the opportunity to learn about the different varieties, and of course there will be the all important free samples!

The event will take place from 11am until 7pm, so you will have plenty of time to do lots of exploring. You’ll get the chance to chat to label managers from across the board, meeting the people who are responsible for releasing the music that you love! Not to mention rifling through the eclectic and varied catalogues of releases that will be available to purchase. Some Christmas presents for yourself may be necessary!

A celebration of the best Independent Labels out there, November 30th will be a day full of fun and festive cheer! Come down and see us at the Sunday Best stall; eat some cake, chat to the team, buy some records and you never know, you could meet a special guest or two!
