Description & tracklisting

Danger is the fourth single taken from Xylaroo’s debut album Sweetooth;

“Danger was influenced by watching stories on the news about police brutality and the killing of black youths. The chorus strange fruit is obviously a reference to the song and poem “Strange Fruit,” a protest against lynchings in the 30’s. Throughout the song we use the allegory of the wind and the tree to convey the more subtle forms of modern racism that permeate society today. These incidences are not isolated from society, strange outcomes come from strange beginnings. Beneath such random acts of violence is a system and a structure that we all bend to in some way or another.”

B-side is the ethereal Titan’s Arms.
